The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced independent sales representatives across the United States who have strong, trusted relationships with retailers doing meaningful business in the luxury category. Whether that's furniture, bedding, home furnishings, or any adjacent category — if you know the right people, we want to talk.

This is a 1099 independent contractor relationship, and we are flexible in how we structure it to work for you:

• Territory agreements — we are open to assigning exclusive territories to the right rep
• Account-specific arrangements — if you have a specific retailer relationship you want to leverage, let's talk about building around that
• Introduction fees — if you open the door to a key retailer that results in a successful program launch and you prefer to hand the business off, we will compensate you for that introduction
• Ongoing commission — if you prefer to stay involved and service the business yourself? We offer a higher commission structure for reps who own the relationship and grow with the retailer

What We're Looking For

• You have strong, established relationships with luxury retailers 
• You do what you say you're going to do, every time
• You are willing to invest the time to learn the Shifman story, go through our training, and give the line the attention it deserves to land and grow
• You have a reputation in this industry that stands on its own, and integrity that isn't negotiable

You do not need to know a thing about mattresses. We will bring you to our factory for a tour unlike any you have ever been on, and we will teach you everything you need to know in order to tell the story with confidence.

What You Get in Return

We take the partnership seriously, and that means we show up for you:

• Senior-level support on sales calls — when you get the meeting, a VP or higher will be with you to handle the tough questions
• Full marketing support — presentations, marketing documents, social media assets, training videos, and everything else you need to walk in prepared
• Stability — once you build the business, you can expect to keep it. We don't build relationships with our reps just to pull the rug out. If you're growing with the retailer, we're growing with you.
• A product worth selling — there is a real difference between carrying a line you believe in and carrying one you don't. Shifman is very unique in the market and we want to approach our growth with that confidence.
